The focus of Isabel Leal’s research is the processes of adjustment of individuals, particularly in crisis situations (adolescence, maternity/paternity, menopause/andropause, aging) or those related to different traumatic situations, namely diseases. She is interested in the moderating effect of different variables and psychological interventions on results expressed through conceptions, theorizations and evaluations of quality of life, well-being and health.
